Dear Mr. Smith

I’m Christopher Matagrano and I am a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Sports Studies and a dual minor in English Journalism and Business. I played four years of basketball at the Division I level and still maintained a 3.4 GPA. After graduation I started my business Hoops Elite, a developmental basketball program for young athletes from kindergarten through high school.

            We are reaching out to you in hopes for an investment of $100,000 in turn for 30% of the business. With this investment we look to buy a gym with two full length courts and six basketball rims, this way we don’t have to rent a gym anymore.

            We have expanded from 85 students to 225 students in the past two years and are expecting to grow more when we have our own gym. We have just released our new web page design this past month and already have 1,000 hits. Our AAU teams have also been very successful these past two years. Our 14U team won the gym rat challenge this past summer.

With your investment and our new facility we look to be able to run our own tri-state annual tournament. As well as begin to coach girls AAU teams. We are also expecting a jump in our attendance from 225 students to 400 once we have more space.
